Bounce tracking
Hard bounces are caught immediately at send time; delayed bounces are detected automatically afterward. Both are tracked per mailbox so reputation risk shows up before it grows.
How it works
Hard bounces (invalid address) are detected at send time from the provider's response. Soft or delayed bounces are picked up on a later scan of the mailbox's inbox. Either way, the contact is marked bounced so it won't be sent to again.
The process in Sendqube
- 1Send as normal — no setup needed, bounce tracking runs automatically per mailbox.
- 2A bounced contact's status updates and remaining steps in the sequence are skipped for that contact.
- 3Check Analytics for bounce rate per sequence, or filter Contacts by status = bounced.
